OBJECTIVE
To knock down opponents’ pins.

EQUIPMENT
pins, pinnies, soft playground balls, cones

DIRECTIONS
- Divide class into teams of 5-6, and designate 2 differently coloured teams to each badminton court
- Teams must work together to knock down the opponents’ 5 pins on their backline
- Only pivoting with the ball, and maximum 3 seconds of possession at a time per player
- First team to have all their pins knocked down loses

MODIFICATIONS
- Increase the number of playground balls in each court (up to 3)
- Use beanbags or tennis balls instead of soft playground balls
- Allow players to take up to 3 steps with the ball
- Add a specific amount of passes to be made before shooting on the pins

SAFETY CUES
- Underhand throws only
- Keep head up
